Commencing in January 2026, St Peters Lutheran College is seeking to appoint a passionate and organised Rowing Program Coordinator to lead our coaching staff and oversee the development of our Rowing programs. This role will involve administration, planning, executing, and managing training sessions, competitions, and events to foster a positive and competitive environment for athletes of all skill levels. St Peters is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 50 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD. Established in 1945 St Peters has developed an enviable reputation in academic scholarship, pastoral care and breadth of co-curricular programs, through which it seeks to provide an exceptional student experience. Together academic staff and corporate staff provide an outstanding educational environment for students to grow and flourish. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs and schedules for athletes.
  • Coordinate and manage coaching staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Organise competitions, regattas, and other events, ensuring smooth logistics.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, encouraging athlete development.
  • Collaborate with parents, athletes, and other stakeholders to enhance the rowing experience.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to support program growth.
  • Administration of all aspects of the Rowing Program.
Qualifications:

  • Experience in coaching rowing, with a strong understanding of rowing techniques and strategies.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
