Our passionate team support both organisations to deliver programs and events that connect junior and senior pathways, support volunteers and officials, and promote athletics as a sport for life. About the Role Based at the Domain Athletics Centre in Hobart, you’ll support the planning and delivery of competitions and events that inspire athletes of all ages. From state championships to community initiatives, you’ll ensure professional standards and exceptional experiences while supporting volunteers and stakeholders across Tasmania. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of the annual competition and events calendar
• Lead planning and operations for major events, including State Championships
• Coordinate venue setup, equipment, and event resources
• Recruit and manage volunteers and officials
• Oversee entry systems and CRM engagement
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and WH&S standards

What We’re Looking For Essential

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience working collaboratively in a team
• Flexibility to work weekends and travel as required

Desirable

• Experience coordinating sporting events
• Knowledge of athletics pathways and technical rules
• Familiarity with event technology and CRM systems
