American Football Australia (AFA) is seeking a capable and motivated High Performance Administrator to support the delivery of the Flag Football Olympic Program. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and logistics of national squads, training camps, competitions, and international tours, while also managing the Premier Flag League competition. With Flag Football set to make its Olympic debut at LA 2028, this is a pivotal moment for AFA as we build a high-performance program to prepare athletes for success on the world stage. Key Responsibilities Working closely with the High Performance Director and coaching staff, this role plays a critical part in supporting athletes, coaches, and program excellence in preparation for domestic and international events. Key duties will include:

  • Lead the day-to-day administration and operational delivery of the Flag Football High Performance Program
  • Coordinate logistics for training camps, domestic and international tours, competitions, and apparel
  • Manage the Premier Flag League, including competition scheduling, operations, and participant engagement
  • Oversee budgets, procurement, reporting, and compliance in line with Australian Sports Commission and internal requirements
  • Liaise with coaches, performance staff, athletes, volunteers, and partners to support effective program delivery and communication
About You We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual with:

  • Demonstrated experience in sports administration, operations, or team management, ideally within high-performance or elite sport environments
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands
  • Experience coordinating logistics for travel, events, training camps, and competitions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with athletes, staff, and stakeholders
