Equipment Intern

Location: HE Laybutt Sporting Complex, Blacktown NSW Duration: Mid-November to August Schedule:

• Pre-Season: Tuesday & Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings
• In-Season: - Tuesday & Thursday evenings (training) - Friday evening or Saturday morning (Captain’s Run - flexible) - Saturday or Sunday (Game Day - flexible)

Reports to: Equipment Steward & Coaching Staff Overview Blacktown Workers Rugby League is seeking a motivated and reliable intern to join our team for the upcoming season. This internship provides hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a high-performance rugby league environment, making it an ideal opportunity for students pursuing a career in sports business or coaching. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and pack down gear for training sessions and game days.
• Maintain hydration stations during training.
• Assist the coaching staff with equipment needs and timing coordination.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling equipment and working outdoors.
