About the Opportunity Help us turn two under-utilised stadiums into buzzing community hubs. On a typical day you’ll:

  • Lead smooth stadium operations at Seymour Sports & Aquatic Centre Stadium and Broadford Leisure Centre Stadium (presentation, cleaning, kiosk, customer service and OHS).
  • Coordinate casual rosters for peak times and events, and manage bookings, allocations and invoicing in line with Council’s User Fees and Charges.
  • Build programs for all ages and abilities across multiple indoor sports, partnering with peak sporting bodies to bring clinics, comps and coach/official development to Mitchell.
  • Engage clubs and schools, support governance and scheduling, and help activate regular after-school opening at Broadford for casual shooting, youth engagement and future health and fitness options.
Hours: While not currently set hours, a large proportion of this role will be after-school, direct service hours at the Broadford Leisure Centre (Stadium) to support site opening. You may also need to be available across a wide range of hours, including some weekends, to meet program and event needs. This role is a permanent part time opportunity of 22.80 hours per fortnight. Remuneration begins at $76.4K to $87.1K (Band 5) plus superannuation. About You You’re a hands-on organiser who loves sport and community. You bring:

  • Experience in indoor sport/recreation operations and/or program delivery.
  • Confidence engaging clubs, schools and peak sporting bodies to grow participation.
  • Strong customer service, scheduling and stakeholder skills.
  • Working knowledge of OHS, Child Safe Standards and incident response.
  • Ability to supervise casual/event staff and manage budgets, procurement and POS/booking systems.
  • Mandatory: Working with Children Check; Provide First Aid & CPR. (Food Safety desirable for kiosk operations).
