Our Aquatic Centre is expanding its Learn-to-Swim program and is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Swim Instructors who are Infant and Pre-School qualified and have a passion for swimming and inspiring children to feel safer in, and around water. The Aquatic Centre houses an indoor heated technique pool and an indoor heated 25-metre, 8 lane pool and one (1) metre and three (3) metre diving boards. _Successful applicants:_
- Are not currently enrolled in secondary school
- possess exceptional communications skills
- a commitment to high customer service standards
- enjoy working in a fast-paced, team environment
- have proven ability to interact effectively and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents and community members to ensure maximum benefit from services provided
_Requirements:_
_Essential_
- Current Working with Children Check ( _Employee)_
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (or equivalent)
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infants and Pre School Aquatics (INF), or equivalent
- Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
_Desirable_
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
- LSV Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role
_Hours_
- Infant and Pre-school shifts Saturday mornings 8am – 11.30am
- Additional learn to swim shifts Monday – Friday 8:30am – 2:45pm, 3:30pm-6:30pm
- Limited hours during school holidays
