Are you a visionary leader passionate about community sport? Do you have the energy, integrity, and drive to lead a high-performing team and make a real impact? The Northern Football Netball League is seeking a CEO to lead one of Melbourne’s most vibrant community sporting organisations. With 450+ teams, 10,000+ players, and 430 umpires, NFNL delivers safe, inclusive, and professional football and netball competitions - and we’re more than a league, we’re a community. What You’ll Do:
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of staff, officials, and volunteers.
- Shape and deliver the League’s strategic vision for growth and excellence.
- Build strong partnerships with clubs, AFL Victoria, Netball Victoria, government, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure top-tier governance, financial stewardship, and operational performance.
- Champion pathways for players, coaches, umpires, and volunteers.
About You:
- Proven track record in strategic leadership, people management, and business growth.
- Strong understanding of community sport, governance, and financial oversight.
- Exceptional communicator, negotiator, and relationship-builder.
- Passionate about inclusion, participation, and volunteer engagement.
- Collaborative, transparent, and results driven.
Desirable: Experience in football or netball governance, community engagement, or peak sporting organisations.
