We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of our digital and database system. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to translate business needs into functional requirements and ensure our CRM solution delivers the requirements of the organisation and the sport. The candidate will be expected to successfully navigate both the state and national requirements of a system to cater for participant registrations and technical member education and accreditations, to then work with a third-party vendor to ensure the chosen system meets the needs of the sport. You will have great personal interaction and relationship building skills given the front facing interaction with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also be capable of working autonomously and competent in managing complex situations and conflicting priorities. Knowledge of and/or experience of sporting organisations, particularly those with a national federated model. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviews to elicit detailed business requirements.
  • Analyse current business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
CRM Design & Implementation Support
  • Collaborate with CRM vendor to implement CRM features and workflows.
  • Ensure that CRM configuration aligns with documented requirements and business objectives.
  • Maintain documentation such as process maps, requirement specifications, and solution design documents.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for CRM enhancements.
  • Conduct functional testing and coordinate UAT with business users.
Change Management & Training
  • Support change management efforts including communication, training materials, and documentation.
  • Assist business users in adopting new CRM features and best practices.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot CRM-related issues.
Project Coordination
  • Work closely with project managers to support project planning, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Help track progress, risks, dependencies, and KPIs.
  • Ensure alignment between stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
