Commercial Operations Coordinator

Founded in 2003, Adelaide United Football Club (AUFC) is South Australian’s only professional football club with teams competing in the A-Leagues and South Australian National Premier Leagues The Club exists for the people of South Australia, as a custodian for the game of football, and serves to foster the passion, pride, and purpose that football evokes within the community. The Club’s ambition is to be the most engaged, respected, and successful football club in Australia. AUFC is seeking a Commercial Operations Coordinator to join our Commercial team on a full-time basis. Based at the Club’s Head Office in Hindmarsh, the Commercial Operations Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating a range of commercial activities for AUFC. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Commercial Operations Coordinator will assist with enhancing the partnership and client experience as well as the growth and engagement of AUFC’s partners and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also lead Event planning for the Commercial department with an acute focus on driving B2B engagement. Key to the success of the role will be maintaining best practice administrative standards and developing strong working relations with all departments and partners to maximise outcomes to deliver sustainable growth for AUFC. Key responsibilities include: - Ensure all administration and designated tasks for sponsor deliverables and events are completed to a high standard.

• Assist in coordinating the Club’s match day corporate hospitality offerings and partner activations.
• Coordinate various administrative tasks including signage production, digital collateral, partnership reporting and the annual calendar of events.
• Lead in the delivery of partner events and business engagement opportunities.
• Assist in the planning and execution of Club partner and activation events.
• Help develop effective presentations for new and existing partners.
• Assist in identifying new revenue streams outside of traditional assets.
• Understanding partner needs and ensure value is always at the forefront of AUFC’s commercial offerings.
• Facilitate an adherence to best practice operational standards.
• Develop strong working relationships with various AUFC departments.
• Contribute to a positive, team focused culture within AUFC.
• Ensure integrity, collaboration and innovation are a guiding focus. The successful candidate will be an honest, positive individual with high level of enthusiasm and an attention to detail. They will possess outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and a relevant tertiary qualification in business, management, marketing (or similar) is preferred. Experience required: - Tertiary qualification in business, management, marketing (or similar) is highly regarded.
• Understanding and in interest in sport (preferably football) with a passion and enthusiasm to improve the performance of AUFC and profile of the sport in Australia.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office and Canva. Due to the nature of the position and the operational requirements of the Club, work on match day and out of business hours will be required.
