Level 4 - $107,204.10 per annum (inc $20,000 Port Hedland Allowance) + 12% Superannuation Full Time \| Permanent Opportunity The Role The Town is seeking a qualified Aquatic Duty Manager to join their dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis. As Aquatic Duty Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Town of Port Hedland's Aquatic Team to oversee the day-to-day operations of the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gatwick Aquatic Centre. Working in partnership with the Coordinator Aquatic Operations and Aquatic Supervisor, this role will be responsible for operating the Town's facilities in accordance with the Council policy and Department of Health regulations, providing a safe and engaging environment for our guests. Work Related Requirements Our ideal applicant will have excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and have a proactive attitude. You will also be required to hold the following qualifications:

  • Operate a Group 1 leisure Facility in accordance with Section 6.2 of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operations, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities
  • Current RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard accreditation
  • LIWA Aquatics Accreditation (Hold or be willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid
  • Operate breathing Apparatus qualifications (Hold or be willing to obtain)
  • WA Working with Children Card (Hold or be willing to obtain)
  • Working Rights in Australia
  • National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
  • C Class Drivers' Licence
