About the Role Join our Sheldon College Learn to Swim team and make a splash in a heated pool environment. Whether you're a seasoned swim instructor or just starting out, we offer a warm atmosphere to help you grow your skills and confidence. Don't let the seasons dictate your passion for swimming – join us and make a difference, one stroke at a time! This is a part-time opportunity (~19 hours per week) commencing 2026

• We are open Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings (penalty rates apply).
• Candidates don’t need prior experience; however, qualifications remain applicable.
• We offer a year-round program in an onsite heated pool

About You

• You are passionate about water safety and learning to swim and create an environment that is both informative and constructive while being a fun experience for students.
• You have great stakeholder management including with children and their families.
• You are energised by the success and progression of students and your energy and enthusiasm is aligned to the College philosophy of Love, Laughter and Learning.

You hold:

• AUSTSWIM/ASCTA Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certificate or equivalent
• AUSTSWIM/ASCTA Teacher of Infants (desirable)
• Valid QLD Blue Card or the ability to successfully obtain
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or the ability to obtain one)
