Moore Park Golf is on the lookout for a Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator to ensures a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and review environmental health and occupational health and safety (OHS) plans.
- Prepare and execute strategies for the safe, economical, and appropriate disposal of commercial, industrial, medical, and household waste.
- Advise on and enforce relevant legislation, and lead prevention programs for:
- Identify workplace hazards and assess and control associated risks.
- Design and monitor programs to minimise pollution from chemical and physical hazards.
- Promote ergonomic principles by aligning furniture, equipment, and tasks with employee needs.
- Conduct workplace inspections and audits for compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Train staff in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work procedures.
- Record and investigate incidents, injuries, and equipment damage; report on safety performance.
