This role is responsible for ensuring all financial information is captured and reported on accurately in a timely manner to ensure complete, reliable and robust financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure reconciliation of all creditors and debtors accounts
  • Data entry of all creditor and debtor invoices
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of selected accounts
  • Assist with monitoring, managing and reporting on budgets and key accounts
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer to identify, measure and report on required metrics
  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Complete all regulatory compliance work, including SGC, FBT, PAYG, GST and Payroll Tax
  • Complete all governance documentation as required
  • Assist with player payment reporting
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting as needed
Administration:

  • Support the Chief Operating Officer to maintain appropriate internal controls across the organisation ensuring adherence to appropriate policies
  • Assist in maintaining adequate internal and regulatory records
  • Complete all governance documentation as required
Other:

  • Develop strong working relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to a positive workplace environment and culture through appropriate communication, teamwork and collaborative work practices.
  • Attendance at some home matches each season to assist where needed.
