The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) has 26 Member Clubs, over 460 teams, ~11,000 participants, and over 1000 umpires all playing in over 3,500 matches annually in Melbourne’s Southeast corridor. The league is an industry leader in the administration and delivery of junior sport and as part of its operations, works with St Kilda FC to run a talent pathway program for high potential players. About the role The primary objective of an SMJFL Football Pathways Academy Intern is to assist the Head of Pathways and Pathways Administrator with key tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the talent pathway programs. This role is required in the office on Wednesday afternoons and to attend trainings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at a venue TBC. Assistance will also be required on the Kings Birthday long weekend to support the operations of AFL Victoria Junior Development Series matches.
